The Better Business Grant is a £5.3 million scheme from the Government of Jersey, delivered in partnership with Jersey Business. The grant is designed to help local businesses improve productivity, invest in skills, and grow the visitor economy.
Eligible businesses can apply for up to 50% matched funding, with maximum grant values of £75,000.
This is a valuable opportunity for Jersey businesses to invest in smarter, more efficient ways of working and accelerate their growth.
What funding is available?
Major grants
£5,001 to £75,000 For businesses trading for over 18 months
Minor grants
£1,000 to £5,000 For businesses operating between 6 and 18 months
Apprenticeship grants
£2,000 per apprentice
For businesses supporting government-approved apprenticeships
Can you apply?
To be eligible for a grant, your business must:

Be registered in Jersey with a valid business licence;

Employ at least one person (excluding the owner) for three months or more, earning at least £128 per week; and

Be up to date with tax contributions or on an approved repayment plan.
