We’re very pleased to announce that Webreality has been awarded certification to the ISO 27001 information security standard.
ISO 27001 is generally recognised as the global standard in information security management. It is awarded to organisations who have been able to demonstrate to accredited assessors that their policies, processes, technology and people meet the highest standards in information security.
Webreality’s certificate was issued by accredited assessors BSI Group on Wednesday 28th June 2023, following a detailed audit of Webreality’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) in March 2023.

Everyone is aware of the increasing risks to businesses and other organisations from malicious interference with data assets, and we’re increasingly seeing our clients holding us to account on our information security credentials.
This certification is evidence of our commitment to keeping their digital assets secure.
ISO 27001 is more usually seen attached to the world’s biggest brand names. Gaining certification to this standard is a major achievement even for a very large business, and especially challenging for a smaller one like Webreality. Our successful audit in March was the culmination of nine months of preparatory work, ensuring that our Information Security Management System meets the high standard prescribed in ISO 27001.
And the certificate is just the start. We will continue to be audited periodically in order to retain ISO 27001 certification, and to ensure that we progressively raise our standards to meet the continuously evolving requirements of ISO 27001.
Information security is in our DNA, having been managing clients’ digital assets for over 23 years, but the step up to ISO 27001 certification is a serious undertaking. I’m enormously proud of the Webreality team for a successful application at the first attempt, and I want to thank and congratulate the whole team for their contributions to that achievement.
